Hosting events does not need to cost an arm and a leg. There are so many great ways to help keep your event under budget. Here are a few tips I have to do just that:

Dollar Tree has so many great serving trays you can get for just one dollar! Here are a few items that a perfect for any event. These nickel plated and clear plastic serving trays work great! If they end up ruined, you just purchase another at only $1. Such a great deal!

If you want to display candy in a nice way, Dollar Tree shared this great idea on how to use their glass vases or cups. Here is the link to their article. You can also use their $1.00 candy or snacks to fill them!

Another option is to purchase serving items from a thrift store. If you go on the right day and they are discounted or you sign up for coupons like at Savers, you can really get a great deal! I have found drink dispensers for only $5 a piece. A new in box tiered tray was only $10. A platter was $5 and the another only $4.

Not into used stuff? Another great place to get value priced serveware is Target! If you watch for their sales you can get the Threshold brand items for a great price. I always like to purchase white items because they are very versatile and can be used for any event or holiday. These are all under $10, just scroll to the left or right and click the photo to purchase.

Happy Hosting!
