Ideas For Fun Virtual Events and Gatherings

A few years ago we have all had to become adaptive on how we gather with our friends. Sometimes gathering virtually is still the only way to stay connected. Here are a few ideas I have about how to connect with your friends or family virtually:

Flower arrangement class from Alice’s Table: Receive farm-fresh flowers and join Alice, for an exclusive virtual masterclass! Throughout the zoom masterclass, Alice will teach you step-by-step how to create our beautiful arrangement in a stylish vase! Flowers and vase are shipped right to your door. If you have a group of 15 or more, you can host a private class for you and your friends. They also have Charcuterie board and wreath classes available right now. I did one of these virtual events myself and it was so much fun! Go to www.alicestable.com for more information

A virtual cookie decorating class: Many local bakers are doing virtual cookie decorating classes. Can’t find one? Then, check out these cute cookie kits that come with a class at Tudor House Cookies. You can all log on to their virtual class on your computer and then facetime on your phones together

Host a book club: There are so many books out there to choose from but this one has my heart: A Tribe Called Bliss by Lori Harder. It encourages readers to examine life on a micro level, and Lori provides lessons and contextual self-work exercises. You will not only learn more about your friends but yourself as well. It will bring you and your friends closer together. I have completed this book club twice and highly recommend it.

Craft Time: Michaels offers free crafting workshops via Zoom. Choose a class you are all interested in, then grab all the needed supplies beforehand. Jump on the zoom with your computer and use your phone to facetime one another.

If you have any other ideas for virtual events or gatherings to add to the list please share in the comments below!
