Glam your wine party up with these sparkly VINO decorations! Follow along as I share how you can make them too!
Supplies:
4 wine bottles (or more depending on the word you want to spell)
Sponge to apply paste
Fine glitter ( I used the Recollections brand from Michaels)
Sticker Letters
Optional: weeding tool to remove sticker
Step 1- Remove labels from bottles
An easy way to do this is by soaking the bottles in warm water and dish soap. If there is still glue from the labels, you can use Goo gone to remove the rest.
Step 2 - Add letters to the bottles
I used letters that my Cricut cut out with the removable vinyl paper. If you don't have a Cricut I think these Pacon stickers would work perfectly!
Step 3- Apply adhesive
For this step, make sure to avoid applying the paste to all of the letter, otherwise you won't be able to find it after the glitter is applied. If you accidentally apply it over the sticker, just use a q-tip to remove most of it before step 4.
Step 4- Apply glitter
To keep my workspace clean, I put a plastic garbage bag around a box to hold the left over glitter. The great thing about this, is that at the end you remove the bag, cut a hole in the bottom corner of the bag and pour it back into the bottle! Easy clean up and you save on the glitter waste.
Step 5 - Remove sticker
Make sure to do this step right after you've applied all the glitter. Otherwise, the sticker may not come off. I used my Cricut weeding tool to help with this step.
Step 6: Display your bottles
I chose to turn my bottles into vases and added flowers. You can leave them empty or add fairy lights! If you chose the lights, I would use the spray so the glitter is uniform because the lights will show streaks from the Mod Podge.
