Floating Wine Bottle Decor

Bring a magical glow to any space with this floating light up wine bottle! A stunning, DIY décor idea that’s perfect for weddings or parties.

Supplies:

Foam Discs

Plastic Wine Bottles

Faux flowers of your choice

Fairy lights with corks

Glue Gun

Clear String

12" needle

Bricks

Step 1:

Spray paint the foam discs to look like wood. Once dry, continue to step 2

Step 2:

Using a glue gun, glue the clear plastic wine bottles to the foam disc. Then glue on the flowers around the bottles.

Step 3:

Thread the large needle with clear string and insert through the foam disc. Use pliers to pull the needle through the other end. Make sure to pull the needle away from your body. Pull string through so that there is an even amount of string on each side to reach the bottom of your pool. Then glue the hole so that water won't enter and so the string wont move.

Step 4:

Insert fairy lights into the bottle and turn on.

Step 5:

Tie the string to a brick. Then place the brick at the bottom of the pool.
