Summer is on the way which means pool party time! One year's pool party theme was “Flamingo” and it was so much fun to decorate and plan for. Here is how I made a Flamingo Summer Pool Party!
Let’s start with the table decor. For table I purchased white plastic tablecloths with flamingos. I purchased them at Oriental Trading. I also found this adorable tablecloth on Amazon.
To bring in some green I sprinkled these felt leafs from a banner I purchased for another event. You can do that as well or hang the banner above your table!
With a party you have to have some balloons right? I used this foil flamingo balloon from Hobby Lobby but it is no longer available. This ballon set from Amazon is adorable.
For plates and napkins I purchased them from Dollar Tree. I didn’t want everything to be flamingo but bring in some pink and tropical vibes. Looks like Dollar Tree has these and they would be perfect! Since they are probably not in stores anymore I found these on Amazon.
This napkin & plate set is also great if you want more flamingos around. You can add pink plastic wear which will make it pop too!
I found these cute koozies on Oriental Trading.
Now let’s go over the treats! I’m all about matching the treats to the theme of the party. I used my cupcake tower to display pink cotton candy from Party City.
Then displayed some flamingo lollipops nearby. They are currently sold out, but I found these are would work just as great to bring in the pink!
For cookies I found a local baker who makes custom sugar cookies. They turned out so cute! In order to have extra cookies I just purchased some from the local grocery store that had pink frosting on them.
Then for our frozen drink station, we used pink solo cups and these flamingo straws gave the perfect touch!
Another way I displayed some beverages was this fun beverage holder and ring toss game from Target dollar spot. Of course, it’s no longer there, but I found this awesome one that holds so much more!
Now let’s move on to more decor through out the yard. It’s not a pool party without inflatables right? We purchased these inflatables. One was a drink holder that I didn’t realize was so huge so we put it in the pool since we already had drinks in our mini fridges. We also had this flamingo floaty which was a great size.
I used a pack of flamingo beach balls that I strung together with string and used as a “banner” for decor. Then threw the rest in the pool. Target has flamingo beach balls in the dollar spot section that would an awesome addition!
I strung some flamingo lights from Target dollar spot around the tables. They are no longer for sale but these on Amazon are perfect! These paper lanterns would look so cute hanging throughout the yard too!
Another classic I used was the plastic yard flamingos from back in the day. I displayed these in the front yard so as the guests arrive they saw the theme!
Hope you have so much fun flamingling at your pool party!
